Grillart Bristle-Free Grill Brush and Water Tank
Amazon
Am I starting with the best thing I’ve bought so far in 2025? Maybe. Since people have been moving away from bristle brushes, I decided to pick up a new grill brush for this summer that’s guaranteed to be safe. This stainless steel brush gets down and dirty with my grill’s grates; caked-on bits of grease and food are no match at all for its powerful scraper. If you do any outdoor cooking at all, I recommend grabbing one while it’s on sale.
Takeya Tritan Cold Brew Coffee Maker
Amazon
I have a lot of experience making coffee in all sorts of devices, but I’ve never really attempted cold brew. After having an impressive glass of it at a cafe recently, I’m on the verge of launching a full-on cold brew summer. We said this is the best maker for beginners, and it’s 31% off, so it feels like a great place to start.
Owala FreeSip 32-Ounce Water Bottle
Amazon
I always keep a water bottle within arm’s reach, and Owala’s FreeSip is my all-time favorite. I love the locking lid that also doubles as a carrying loop. It’s completely leakproof and keeps my water cold all day long, even when I’m out running errands in peak humidity.
“How to Grill Everything”
Amazon
Mark Bittman’s “How to Grill Everything” is an extremely fun cookbook. It tells you everything you’d need to know about any kind of grilling. It offers an unbelievable number of recipes that you can mix and match to create your own dishes (many recipes come with a list of sauces and condiments they go well with, so there are technically thousands, if not millions, of possible combos here). It’s a really thoughtful work, and the perfect addition to your library or a gift for any grill lover you know. I recommend picking it up while it’s an incredible 50% off.
Yeti Hopper M20 Backpack
Amazon
This Yeti backpack cooler is my go-to for tailgating, park hangs, or even having a large number of people over. You can fit up to 36 cans or 22 pounds of ice, and the backpack straps are awesome when you’re carrying a big load. Best of all is that it’s currently $65 off.
“Mississippi Vegan”
Amazon
This is one of my most-used cookbooks. Its dishes have been loved by countless friends and family members, especially non-vegans — it’s just very good food. My wife and I make the gumbo recipes constantly, and we love the cornbread, red beans and rice, and salads. So many people have asked me about this cookbook, I’ve even started giving it out as gifts, so I’m pretty excited to find it for 48% off.
Gorilla Grip Silicone Oven Mitts
Amazon
Everybody needs a solid set of oven mitts, and I’m a big fan of every kitchen tool and gadget I’ve tried from the brand Gorilla Grip, so I think this deal is a fantastic find at 47% off. These silicone oven mitts are heat-resistant to 484°F, meaning you should be able to use them on nearly anything you’d make in the kitchen. Over 19,100 Amazon shoppers have given them a five-star rating.
Traeger Grills XXL Grilling Spatula
Amazon
Traeger’s XXL grilling spatula is one of the best grill tools I’ve ever used. It has a huge surface area that’s perfect for portobello mushrooms, burgers, delicate fish, and countless other things that you don’t want to risk lifting or flipping with a narrower spatula. I’ll be picking up a whole box of these to give out as gifts this summer.
