Per Grieg-backed land-based salmon firm Proximar Seafood has introduced that its first batch of juvenile Atlantic salmon has been efficiently transferred to the feeding division and has began to take feed.
This marks a major step for the corporate’s manufacturing crew, after the primary eggs had been efficiently inserted within the firm’s hatchery in Oyama, Japan in October 2022.
Proximar will insert comparable batches into the hatchery every month going ahead, enabling steady harvest from the center of 2024.
The corporate is happy with progress on each the development works and in addition the operational facet in response to CEO Joachim Nielsen.
