Kylie Jenner’s French Manicure Is a Classic

Kendall and Kylie Jenner are taking their sisterly bonding up a notch. On July 6, 2025, Kylie posted an Instagram carousel of the duo out at lunch. No surprises there, right? Both women were drinking what looked to be glasses of rosé while wearing similar black sunglasses, but we couldn't help but notice that they also had matching French manicures.

This isn't the first time the sisters have been seen wearing similar nail looks. Back in 2023, they both showed off matching micro French manis, and it seems like they've recently decided to continue the tradition. While Kendall opted for short squoval nails with slightly rounded edges, Kylie opted for a long almond-shaped nail. The sisters chose to go with a “baby” French design, which features a thinner white line along the outer edge of the nail (aka a micro French manicure). Both Kendall and Kylie also went with a milkier base versus the traditional sheer or clear shade.

While French manicures briefly fell out of popularity for a few years, it's safe to say the trend is back and better than ever. The classic look is easy to pair with any outfit, and can be customized to suit any vibe you're going for — whether that's colorful and bold or classic and pared down.
