Israeli air force attacks Iranian missile sites

The Israel Defense Forces said the air force had launched strikes against missile sites in central Iran, as the Middle East conflict entered a fourth day.

The IDF also said in a social media post that it had completed a “widescale wave” of attacks on Sunday on infrastructure belonging to Iran’s Revolutionary Guard, its specialised Quds force and the Iranian army in Tehran.

As a result, “numerous” weapons production sites across the country had been “struck and degraded”, the IDF said.

Early on Monday, the IDF instructed residents throughout Israel to stay close to shelters, reduce movement and avoid large gatherings.

The order was later withdrawn, with the IDF saying rescue operations were under way.
