A WOMAN decided to visit the biggest warehouse in the UK for bargain food and drinks and was shocked by just how cheap the prices were.
The bargain hunter shared a video of the Roger’s warehouse located in Stockport to her TikTok account, @yougettimeto.
The warehouse sold an array of items including cases of popular drinks such as coke, plus loads of snacks and cupboard essentials like noodles and nature bars for bargain prices.
The catch? The food and drink products have all gone past their best before date.
In the video, she said: “I’ve never been here before but it was like half an hour away.”
As soon as she entered she spotted a case of 28 bottles of iced tea for just £3, that went straight in her trolley.
“As you can see, it says how much it is a case, then everything is labelled with when it went off,” she added.
As well as iced tea, the shop stocked lots of non-alcoholic beers, Costa iced coffee and even bottles of Diet Coke with lime for £5 a pack, and they were actually still in date.
Her partner picked up two cases of the Diet Coke to stock up on, “this is like heaven if you love drinks, honestly” she added.
However, the bargain hunter noted: “The only gumball you play in here is whether it’s still fizzy or not, to be honest, we’re not bothered if it’s a little bit flat.”
She added the flavour could potentially be off, but after trying all of her goodies she picked up she said everything was still perfect.
After browsing the huge selecting of drinks, the couple then made their way to the food section of the giant warehouse.
They had giant packs of olives on sale and lots of tinned fish, as well as tins of chopped tomatoes.
The shop also stocked lots of cupboard essentials such as noodles and rice
The woman also revealed most of the items were bulk buys, which put her off buying some of the items.
“This is what I mean, £3.50 for 18 jars of chilli seeds, I wish you could just have one jar of everything and then everyone would buy more probably,” she said.
She did however find a 1kg bucket of peanut butter and some single bottles of sugar-free coffee syrup.
There was also baby food on offer, Ella’s Kitchen packs cost just £1 and she snapped up two boxes of Kind bars for £4.50 for case of 24 bars each.
She also bagged some Rootles chocolate biscuits for £1 a pack and some Nature’s Heart snack bars for £2 a box.
There were also plenty of cases of crisps and popcorn on offer ranging from £3-£5 a case
She also bagged lots of Cadbury goodies including their Christmas Puds and Caramilk buttons.
On their way out, they were also giving a freebie of potato milk.
The video soon went viral with over 110k views and over 4,900 likes.
People were quick to comment on the video with many saying they loved going into the store.
another revealed that the shop let customers know if fizzy drinks have gone flat before they take it home.
They said: “They put in the price label if it’s gone flat, been going here since it opened.”
One person wrote: “I love this place!! I’m there every pay day hahaha.”
Another commented: “It’s so addictive.”
“Love this place,” penned a third.
Meanwhile, a fourth added: “Love my local one!”
