The Northeast Vernon County Knights Baseball staff traveled to Wheatland, Mo., Wednesday night for a Jamboree. A jamboree is an abbreviated contest throughout which not more than six innings per staff and/or six innings per participant could also be performed. Initially scheduled for Tuesday night, the Knights braved excessive winds and chilly temperatures for the match up. The varsity Knights performed Humansville within the Jamboree and took a loss, 4-2. The junior varsity staff matched up in opposition to Wheatland and fell to them, 8-2.
