COPENHAGEN (Reuters) – Denmark’s central financial institution stated on Tuesday its web site had been focused by hackers, leading to hassle accessing its web site on Monday and Tuesday.
The web site was hit by a so-called distributed denials of service (DDoS), which directs a firehose of site visitors in direction of focused servers in a bid to knock them offline.
The assault ended on Tuesday and didn’t impression the financial institution’s different methods or day-to-day operations, a spokesman stated.
