St Kitts and Nevis: The Gideon Pressure Natural Farm, in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries & Marine Sources St Kitts, hosted an informative and thought-provoking panel dialogue on Wednesday, November thirtieth 2022.
The Gideon Pressure Natural Farm is positioned in Outdated Highway, St Kitts and is understood for promoting the most effective recent, native and natural produce across the island.
The theme of the panel dialogue was “The Means Ahead For Sustainable Agriculture”, which targeted on making a path round St Kitts and Nevis to develop vegatables and fruits in a sustainable approach.
The Panel comprised Ras Sankofa Maccabbee, the President of Gideon Pressure Natural Farm; the Consultant from the Division of Agriculture, Jeanelle Kelly; Ronald’ Ras Bankie’ King, the Extension Officer/Farm Supervisor of the Indian Citadel Fruit Tree Orchard, Ministry of Agriculture within the NIA – Nevis Island Administration; Lionel ‘Ras Trustme’ Stevens President of the Sandy Level Agricultural Co-operative Ltd (SPACS) and Elder Marcello Agard, a member of the Gideon Natural Farm.
The dialogue was moderated by Telca Wallace, the President of the Liamuiga Agricultural Cooperative Society.

Moreover, the Extension Officer within the Ministry of Agriculture of St Kitts, Jeanelle Kelly, highlighted the importance of supporting ladies in enterprise and stated, “Within the agriculture in addition to fisheries sector, it’s essential to assist ladies in enterprise, particularly rural ladies people and we’ve witnessed over time how some ladies teams have been fashioned and flourished such because the Fahies Agricultural Girls’s Cooperative.”
