Your go-to snack for hitting your protein goals may be part of a nationwide recall.
Danone U.S. has announced a voluntary nationwide recall of its popular YoCrunch yogurt products due to the potential presence of plastic pieces in the dome toppers.
The recall was issued on July 11 in cooperation with the FDA, affecting all flavors and sizes currently in stores.
The issue is isolated to the dome toppers—which contain mix-ins like granola, candy, or cookie pieces—and does not impact the yogurt itself.
According to Danone, the transparent plastic pieces may have sharp edges and range from 7 to 25 millimeters in size, posing a choking hazard if consumed.

The affected products have expiration dates ranging from July 7, 2025, through September 4, 2025.
Danone says it is working quickly with retailers to remove the affected products from shelves and restore availability. No injuries have been reported, but multiple consumer complaints triggered the recall.
If you have any YoCrunch products at home, check the lot codes and discard them if they match the recalled items.
