Chipmunks near South Lake Tahoe test positive for plague

Chipmunks within the South Lake Tahoe space have examined optimistic for plague, prompting officers to shut a number of spots within the neighborhood, in keeping with information experiences.

Officers introduced this week that Kiva Seaside and the Taylor Creek Customer Middle in South Lake Tahoe shall be closed via Friday (Aug. 6) following the optimistic plague assessments, in keeping with The Tahoe Every day Tribune. The contaminated chipmunks had no identified contact with individuals, the Every day Tribune reported.
