Beyoncé Brings Western Couture to the 2025 Grammys—and Wins Best Country Album

Beyoncé’s a winner, baby! The musician attended the 2025 Grammys this evening, where she picked up a trophy for best country album. (Taylor Swift presented the category, handing out her trophy to Beyoncé on stage.) The star becomes the first Black woman to win a country Grammy in 50 years. “I want to encourage people to do what they are passionate about,” says Beyoncé during her acceptance speech. “I think genre is a cold word to keep us in our places as artists.”

Of course, the superstar had to bring out a themed look by Schiaparelli for the occasion. Though she skipped the red carpet altogether, Beyoncé put a glamorous twist on country-western style for her appearance during the ceremony. Call it rodeo couture—a sartorial vibe she is sure to continue on her upcoming Cowboy Carter tour later this year, announced just this weekend. (We are sorry to say that the dates are yet to be announced.)

The star wore a figure-hugging gown embroidered with a subtle bandana pattern. To give it a more formal and Hollywood-ready feel, the dress featured sparkling sequins and beads in champagne and cream, and accessorized with matching opera gloves to boot. Surely it was a design worthy of walking down the step and repeat—but when you’re the legend that is Beyoncé, you can save your statement look for inside the show. She certainly looked the part of a winner.
