If you’ve ever dreamed of seeing the world in one go, now’s your chance. Tour operator Adventures By Train just launched its new “Around the World by Train in 100 Days” tour, an experience that brings 12 guests on an unforgettable journey to 15 different countries, all within the span of about three months.
The first journey will depart on March 17, 2026, from London’s St. Pancras station, whisking passengers to Paris for lunch. From there, they’ll continue on to Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, and Turkey—traveling exclusively by train.
On day 14, they’ll arrive in the country of Georgia, before leaving for Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, China, and Japan. Along the way, guests will enjoy Michelin-starred dinners, five-star hotels, immersive cultural activities, stops at historic landmarks, and once-in-a-lifetime experiences (like getting a front-row seat at a Mozart and Strauss concert in Vienna).

Upon leaving Tokyo, it’s time for the first sea voyage: a 23-day cruise across the Pacific aboard the Viking Venus, with stops in Sapporo and Alaska before concluding in Vancouver on day 72.
Next up is a journey through the Western U.S., exploring Seattle, Montana’s Glacier National Park, Bozeman, Yellowstone National Park, Jackson Hole, South Dakota’s Badlands National Park, and Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado. At the end of the road trip (day 87), guests board Amtrak's California Zephyr, traveling from Denver to Chicago.
The final leg of the journey consists of a train ride to New York, followed by a seven-night cruise on the Queen Mary 2, which docks in Southampton, England, on day 100.
The tour is priced at a whopping $146,000 per person, although there is a couple’s discount of $116,225 per person. The rate includes a dedicated Adventures By Train tour leader for a majority of the trip, all accommodations, most meals, two luxury cruise ship voyages, first-class rail travel, ferry crossings, guided sightseeing tours, car or minibus transfers, and all entry fees for the sites noted in the itinerary.
If you want a similar experience—but don’t necessarily have 100 days of PTO—there are a few shorter Adventures By Train itineraries for 2025 and 2026, including a 13-day Jakarta to Bali trip and an 18-day London to Malta via Sicily journey.
