Stockings — they’re more than just little pieces of fabric-shaped socks hanging on our mantles. They’re what I call the pre-game for gift opening, creating an opportunity to get small, handy, useful, yet fun presents that sweeten the deal of Christmas.
While the stockings are fun to open, they’re not the most fun to fill. Aside from candy, what else can you fit in this awkwardly sized holiday decor essential? And what can you buy that doesn’t seemingly break the bank? That’s where we come in. We gathered 10 different stocking stuffers that were less than $15. Since you like to live on the edge and wait until the last minute, we also picked items that would make it in time for the big day. But, as a heads up, you might need a Prime account for that expedited shipping. Shop everything from my favorite OXO bench scraper to our favorite wine corkscrew from Pulltap, starting at just $6.

OXO Good Grips Bench Scraper
This is an awesome stocking stuffer for any cook or baker. I own this particular bench scraper, and it’s one of my most-used tools. It’s also known as a bench knife (what I call it), which speaks to its primary purpose: to cut, scrape, and move dough off of a baker’s bench. I use it to keep pie dough in check, cut portions of pizza dough, and so much more. It’s also essential for cleaning my counters because the sharp edges help loosen any bits left on the surface. Aside from working with dough, it’s so helpful for picking up ingredients off a counter. Think a pile of onions for a soup — use the bench scraper to lift and drop those ingredients easily. I appreciate the built-in ruler on the OXO model, and the handle at the top is very comfortable to hold, too.
ThermoPro TP-03B Digital Meat Thermometer
Every cook needs a meat thermometer, and this is a fantastic option for beginners who need something small, compact, and easy to use. For those reasons, as well as its precision, it has over 100,000 perfect ratings from shoppers. The front has a nice, clear screen that displays temperatures in seconds. The probe folds in to maintain a small footprint when you’re ready to put it away (or when tucking it into a stocking). Shop it on sale for just $9.
Ecolution Micro-Pop Microwave Popcorn Popper
So, this might be a bit big for a stocking, depending on what you have, but I own some bigger stockings, and this is the first thing I’d put in mine. It’s our favorite single-serving popcorn maker, thanks to its nifty design. Made with glass, it produced perfect kernels of chewy yet crispy popcorn. We love that it has a little reservoir for butter at the top to melt as the popcorn pops. It makes one serving at a time, so it’s ideal for just one to two people. For just $10, it’s well worth it.
Spring Chef Magnetic Measuring Spoons Set
I have a measuring spoon set just like this, and it’s a total game-changer. I love the dual-ended design because I can go from measuring liquid measurements on one side to measuring dry ingredients on the other without needing to clean them. One end is rounded, which I prefer for liquids, while the other side is tapered, so it can fit into snug spice jars. I also love the magnetic design because it keeps them all together in the drawer but doesn’t make it difficult to get the spoon you need. The tapered design and neat stacking make it perfect for a loved one’s stocking.
Zulay Kitchen Handheld Milk Frother
Whip up milk for lattes easily using this battery-powered handheld frother with 40,000 perfect ratings from shoppers. All you need to do is press the button on top, and the whisk at the bottom will start to froth up milk. I think this is a cute gift to pair with a mug and some coffee or alongside a larger coffee maker gift. It’s also perfect for blending protein smoothies and mixing powders into liquids, making it a great pairing with protein powder for a cute little stocking idea.
Fox Run Terracotta Brown Sugar Bear Keeper and Saver
This little terracotta bear is not only cute as a stocking stuffer for a loved one but also incredibly useful. The material helps maintain the perfect level of moisture in brown sugar, so you never have to deal with hard, difficult clumps again. It’s a great addition to any baker’s collection and is just as handy for anyone who loves to barbecue.
Pulltap Professional Double-Hinged Waiter’s Corkscrew
This is our favorite wine corkscrew on the market, thanks to its handy design. It uses a double hinge to help remove the cork, which we found very ergonomic and easy to do. It also comes with a built-in serrated knife to cut the foil around the top of the bottle. This is the wine opener I learned to use in culinary school, and it made it so easy to open bottles properly. There’s a reason it is so highly recommended by professionals and sommeliers alike. It makes for an excellent stocking stuffer for any wine lover.
Stainless Steel Spaghetti Measurer Tool
If you know someone who makes spaghetti and meatballs like it’s their job (my whole family), this $6 tool is a surefire way to make their dinners easier. The stainless steel tool has four different holes to measure anywhere from 2 to 8 ounces, so you can break up a full bag without wondering if you made enough.
Zulay Kitchen 13-Inch Danish Dough Whisk
For the baker who seems to have all of the basics covered, slide this Danish dough whisk into their stocking. This kitchen tool makes it easy to mix different breads, pies, biscuits, and more. Its open yet strategically designed looping shape helps mix everything together without getting annoying clumps stuck everywhere, which is common with a classic whisk. It’s just $7 right now if you’re a Prime member, an excellent price for an essential yet exciting tool.
OXO Good Grips Mini Angled Measuring Cup
This cute little measuring cup will be an unexpected but highly useful gift. It’s perfect for measuring small amounts of liquids, such as soy sauce, maple syrup, vinegar, and oil. You can also use it to measure liquids for cocktails since it has ounce measurement markings in addition to tablespoons. The measuring cup even has convenient markings on the top and the sides so you can measure from above.
